"my customers are telling me the invoices are not available when they open the email. this started happening after i started adding GST" 04:10 p.m.

Hi there michelle-m-bougi,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. At QuickBooks, it's important to us that everyone has access to the information they need, and that includes your customers. It definitely sounds like a bit of a peculiar situation since you say this started after you applied GST to the invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed, so I'd like to make sure this is looked at.

The first thing I recommend doing is troubleshooting. The following are steps that both you and your customers can take to ensure that issues like browser cache aren't impacting the way that Self-Employed displays information. So, to start, please clear your browser's cache using the steps outlined here: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks. Don't worry, if you open it and notice it says QuickBooks Online, that's okay. The focus of this article is on the browsers rather than the program, so you can still use the steps given there.

Once your cache is clear, you can try resending the invoices or have your customers check if they can view them now. You each can also try using a private browser window or another browser type to see if that helps.

If it doesn't, please reach out to our dedicated QuickBooks Self-Employed team by following these steps.

  1. Select the Assistant feature.
  2. Type and enter "talk to human" in the chat window.
  3. Follow the prompts.

I wish you the best with sorting this out!
