Don't worry! I can sort this out with you. Great job with verifying your company settings as those definitely play a role in how things display in QuickBooks Online. When it comes to sales tax, however, it also have its own settings for this. I'll show you where to find it.
- Select Taxes from the left menu.
- Choose Manage sales tax.
- Find the sales tax agency in question and choose the down arrow beside Add rate.
- Choose Edit agency settings.
- Choose Accrual from the Reporting method drop-down.
- Hit Save.
