Tax codes are not showing on mobile when creating invoices. They show up on desktop though. These codes disappeared after the last update that change appearance

Let's troubleshoot why those tax codes aren't showing up on your mobile, @Steve.

To begin, could you confirm which version of the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app you are using? Are you using the latest version of the app?

Since the tax codes appear on your desktop but not on your mobile, this may be due to a data synchronisation error or cached data stuck within the app. Often, logging out and back into the app helps reset the data.

Also, ensure your internet connection is stable, as QuickBooks is a web-based service. Any disruption in connectivity can lead to syncing issues, such as missing tax codes.

If the issue persists, you may need to reset your mobile app by clearing its data.

Here is how:

For Android

  1. Open the Menu icon and tap More Options.
  2. Click on Settings, then select Refresh Data.
  3. Select YES to confirm.

For iOS

  1. Go to Settings and tap on General.
  2. Click on iPhone Storage, then select the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap on Offload App.

If the tax codes are still unavailable after following these steps, try restarting your mobile device. This helps remove minor glitches and ensures the operating system is not contributing to the issue.
