The sales tax function is not working on the android mobile app, it only shows up as Discount. But if I edit it on the website and save, it displays correctly on mobile.

I have ensured that the default tax for my services is all set to the 13% option, and also that the services are not tax-inclusive

You can troubleshoot the mobile app to restore the sales tax function, @Travis-T. I'll guide you through the process.

To begin, please make sure your app is updated. Once confirmed, we can refresh the mobile app's data to ensure it syncs correctly with the information from the regular browser. This process will also eliminate any issues and ensure the program runs smoothly.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the Home menu or tap the three dots in the lower right corner.
  2. Select Settings, then choose Refresh Data.
  3. Press Yes.

You can also do it in your device settings. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to your device's Settings and select Apps (this may vary by device).
  2. Locate the QuickBooks app from the list, then select Storage.
  3. Tap Clear Data.

After refreshing, restart your mobile phone and check if the sales tax function is working again. Alternatively, you can uninstall and reinstall the mobile app to ensure you have the latest version of QuickBooks.

I'll also add this article to learn how to record, adjust, and delete sales tax payments in the tax center: Manage sales tax payments in QBO.

Please keep me updated on your progress in resolving this issue, @Travis-T. I want to ensure that the sales tax function is restored.

Hello, I wrote up a very detailed post but it was deleted.

I tried all your steps and the issue is still present across multiple accounts, and 2 different cellphones.

I've attached an image that details the issue. I tried toggling the Inclusivity of tax both on and off, no change visible.

How do I remove the discount section so that I can have Sales Tax automatically added?
