How to upgrade from 2017 to 2018 I do not have the CD

You can purchase QuickBooks Desktop 2018 at https://quickbooks.intuit.com/ca/. Then scroll down to the bottom and select QuickBooks Pro, Premier or Enterprise. Next, you can now download QuickBooks. Just check this article for the steps, under the Canadian version of QuickBooks section: Download QuickBooks Desktop.

After you've downloaded QuickBooks on your computer, you'll have to go through the installation process. You can check out this link on how to install QuickBooks. Lastly, open or restore your company file.

I appreciate the information, however, I have a monthly subscription. Auto update is turned on in QB 2017. One of my computers told me that I have an upgrade which I told it to install, so it is now in version 2018. The other computer did not and when I manually update, it just looks for updates for 2017. So, how do I update that one to 2018. Thanks

2. Select QuickBooks Desktop.
3. Choose a subscription and click the SUBSCRIBE NOW button.
4. Follow the purchase process.

Before installing QuickBooks Desktop, make sure you meet the requirements:

• System Requirements for QuickBooks 2019 and Enterprise Solutions 19.0
• System Requirements for QuickBooks 2018 and Enterprise Solutions 18.0
• System Requirements for QuickBooks 2017 and Enterprise Solutions 17.0

After that, you can already install and active the program.
