Hello Travis,

Check this community article for more details on how to review and edit employee name, address, and social insurance number.
Let me know if you need help with anything else.
I set up an employee not knowing they had worked before and were terminated. I now have them in the system 2x. And it won’t let me use the sin number twice saying it is already used. How do I correct this as I have already did a payroll using a 000 sin number
Hey there Ground,
Thanks for chiming in on this thread! Making sure you have only one profile for each employee is important. I would be happy to provide some information.
You can make the new employee profile inactive. This will allow you to reactivate the employees old profile and continue using Payroll for the employee in question. To make your employee inactive follow these steps below:
1- Head to payroll tab
2-Click the Employees tab
3-Select the employee
4-Click Edit employee
5-Change their Employment Status to Inactive.
This will remove them from your active employee list. In addition, you can follow the same steps to reactive the old employees profile.
