Great question! I know there are a few steps to this process and it doesn't hurt to double-check to make sure you've got things right.

 

Yes, in addition to entering the new hire date, you'll also want to remove the release date and information so that the employee profile starts with a fresh slate regarding the dates with the rehiring. When you remove the release date, hit enter and the program should prompt you with a message about ensuring you're also changing the hiring date. You can click OK, which will also remove the ROE Code. Then you'll see the employee re-added to the payroll.
