How do I set up subscriptions so I can pay my employee? I started with the app on my phone and now it wont let me pay for the premium settings on the website.

Hi there, zouo26. Thank you for reaching out to us. To pay your employees, you'll need to subscribe to payroll first. Let me guide you through the process of setting up your payroll.

 

Since you’ve already tried to pay for the premium settings on the website, I suggest double-checking the credentials you used when signing up for QBO, as well as ensuring you’re accessing the correct QBO website through your browser.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to QuickBooks Online and sign in to your account.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Payroll menu on the Left-hand side.
  3. If prompted, choose Set up Payroll or Activate Payroll.
  4. You'll be prompted to select a Payroll Premium subscription and enter the payment details to activate it.

 

Once activated, you'll be prompted to set up your payroll. Ensure to enter your business information and set up your employee profiles with their payment details to complete the setup.
