Details of the offer-

Promotion:

Up to £100 (excluding VAT) of GoCardless transaction fees reimbursed when you create a new GoCardless account and connect it to the Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant platform to process payments. Existing customers eligible if no payments have been processed prior to the promotion start date. This offer is open to accounting firms that are legally based in the UK.

How to Qualify:

To enter the Promotion, Eligible Participants must: i) create a GoCardless account between 01 June 2022 - 31 July 2022 OR hold an inactive GoCardless account which has not processed any payment prior to 01 June 2022 ii) Connect the GoCardless account to Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant, iii) Complete GoCardless account verification according to the terms of the GoCardless merchant agreement iv) Create and receive payments via the GoCardless for Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant integration by 31 July 2022.

Eligible Participant

New Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant customers or existing Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant customers who are new to GoCardless (meaning that they have signed up for GoCardless through QuickBooks Online Accountant or connected an existing, inactive GoCardless account to Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant) and who process pay enabled invoices via GoCardless on the Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant platform on or before the expiry of the Fee Waiver Promotion Period and are based in the United Kingdom.

Eligible Transaction(s)

Invoice settlement payments made by GoCardless [Direct Debit] against invoices issued via QuickBooks Online Accountant by the Eligible Participant, and settled via QuickBooks Online Accountant, during the Fee Waiver Promotion Period which incur GoCardless Transaction fees. The invoice payee must be based in the United Kingdom. Only transaction fees are included within the promotion.

To be eligible participants must activate a GoCardless account on the Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant platform within the following start/ end dates: Starts at 12:01:00 a.m. BST on 01 June 2022 and ends at 11:59:00p.m. BST on 31 July 2022.

Fee Waiver Promotion Period

Fees paid on transactions initiated in the Fee Waiver Period will be reimbursed. This period starts at 12:01:00 a.m. BST on 01 June 2022 and ends at 11:59:00p.m. BST on 31 July 2022.

Cap

Each Eligible Participant shall be entitled to a maximum fee reimbursement total of GBP £100 (excluding VAT), (the “Cap”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Cap is a VAT exclusive amount, which means that it will be the VAT exclusive amount of GoCardless Transaction Fees that shall be reimbursed to the Eligible Participant.

Fees Reimbursement

GoCardless shall reimburse the Eligible Participant for GoCardless Transaction fees (exclusive of VAT) applied on Eligible Transactions up to the Cap. Only Transaction fees (exclusive of VAT)  incurred up to the Cap shall be eligible for reimbursement upon expiry of the Fee Waiver Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt only transaction fees (exclusive of VAT) are included in the promotion. Any Monthly Fees or Contractual Commitments are not included in the Promotion.

Reimbursements will not be awarded on invoices issued and/or settled after i) the Eligible Participant reaches the Cap; ii) the Fees Waiver Period expires or iii) which are processed outside of the Intuit QuickBooks platform.

Reimbursement is a one-time payment made directly into the Eligible Participant’s GoCardless nominated bank account after the promotion period. The Reimbursement will be credited to the Eligible Participant account within 21 days from the end of the Fee Waiver Promotion Period.

The Reimbursement shall be of any fees exclusive of VAT up to the level of the Cap. GoCardless will not issue a credit note relating to the reimbursement - this is in line with HMRC Guidance (as set out in section 18.2.1 of VAT Notice 700). By participating in this promotion Eligible Participants agree that the reimbursement of a VAT exclusive amount can be made without the issue by GoCardless of a credit note.The Eligible Participant acknowledges and agrees that GoCardless shall not have any liability in this regard.
