In order for you to accept an invite from the US QBO, the admin of that account would have to send an invite to you via email. Since US QBO and QB Canada are separate, you can still accept the invite using the link in the invitation email. Let me know if this info helps you. When I try to accept the invitation, I have the message "Sorry, we don’t currently support connecting to a client’s QuickBooks Online company from a different region"
I see. What happens when you try to accept the invite while using a private/incognito browser window?
You have to sign up a new QBO Accountant US version with another email address to accept that invitation.
this response from QBO team is either incorrect or incomplete, I tried doing that but still it is showing the same error

QuickBooks Online Canada customers will not have the ability to accept an invitation from a QuickBooks Online Accountant, located in the U.S. In order to successfully allow an accountant to your books, the accountant must create a QuickBooks Online Accountant profile for Canada. Not only will they be able to send you an invitation that you can accept without complication, they will have the ability to expand their business and add other clients located in Canada. Please send this link to your accountant, so they can get started with QuickBooks Online Accountant for Canada and send you the appropriate invitation.
