Which Windows OS and QB Desktop year version do you have?
My QB Pro Desktop keeps shutting down on my backup computer when trying to restore a backup. It happened a few times in December, now I am not able to restore the latest backup. Both computers have latest updates. I have tried the latest Tool Hub and it did not find any issues.

Thanks for joining us here. There are several reasons causing the issue, such as compatibility, network issues, or company file concerns. Give these steps a try;
1. Open the QuickBooks Tool Hub as an Admin user
2. Click on the [company file issues] tab, then hit the Run QuickBooks File Doctor
3. Hit OK, when the prompt appears stating “File Doctor will take a minute or two to open, please wait till the File Doctor Launch automatically.“
4. When it opens you will see three options (Repair Company File, Repair Network, and Repair Both).
5. If you're using QuickBooks on multi-user mode, I recommend choosing repair Network and Company file.
