How to cancel client's subscription?

Hi!

My client's company's got dissolved. How can I cancel the subscription when it was among my accounting firm's subscriptions? I do not need to transfer it to the client, as his company does not exist any more.

How to cancel client's subscription?

Welcome to Community!  I'm saddened to hear about your client's situation.  It's important that you're able to maintain your QuickBooks Online Accountant subscriptions with peace of mind.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

Here's how to cancel a client subscription;

 

1. Log into QuickBooks Online Accountant 

2. Open Settings ⚙ and select Subscriptions and billing

3. Locate the client in the list and hit the select the Action ▼ dropdown menu

4. Choose Cancel

5. Review the cancellation request information screen

6. Select Confirm transfer

Note;  This transfers the billing to the customer for which their account will remain inactive.  However, should they decide to reactivate the account, they will have one year to login and resubscribe before it's permanently deleted.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
