What is QBT? Do you need to migrate data from QB Desktop to QB Online?

I see you've mentioned QBO, for QuickBooks Online, and QBT, for QuickBooks Time. QuickBooks Time is an awesome add-on feature that helps with tracking employee time and other related data. I'm excited to hear you're considering this option!

 

Since you've subscribed to QuickBooks Online through the Google Play store, you have QuickBooks Online EasyStart, and that signup option doesn't include the capability to upgrade. The good news is that the QuickBooks Online support team can help by switching your account from app store billing to Intuit's direct billing, which would give you the opportunity to upgrade your account as you'd like.

 

Please use one of the following options to connect with a member of our team to securely share your account information so we can get this process started. They'll also be able to look at the error message you're getting when trying to activate QBT to make sure you have the right direction for working with that add-on feature. It may mean contacting our dedicated QuickBooks Time team, but since you'll need to connect with QuickBooks Online support for your Online subscription anyway, it doesn't hurt to ask.
