Can someone from QuickBooks please assist in advising how do I purchase for my client a legal desktop version of QuickBooks. In Jamaica most small businesses prefer the desktop versions which are not available on Intuit website.

Many thanks for your reply today. If the customer have more than five (5) users but don't need all the features of Enterprise is there a package for that customer? Example 10 - 15 users.

You're welcome. I can see how having Enterprise may mean that you're not utilizing all the features involved, but that you've got multiple users who need access to the program. You can definitely create many different user profiles, however the number of user license you have pertains to how many users are able to access the file at the same time. If more than 5 users will be accessing the account simultaneously, you'll need QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

AddieB has stepped out, but I'm happy to pick up where she left off. I've got a number of links here that can show you the comparison between each of QuickBooks Canada's Desktop products and I've also got a link that explains our support options. I'll start with our products.
When it comes to support options, there are a few. Enterprise support is included in the subscription fees. For Pro and Premier, support is an add-on subscription cost or you can pay-per-service, meaning you'd pay each time you called in for help. I am not familiar with the accounting principle in Jamaica. Keep in mind, Intuit only provides three versions of QuickBooks Desktop (US, UK, CA). If you (and your clients) prefer using a CA version, you may purchase the license subscription thru the link mentioned by LauraAB.
But if you prefer using a US version (i.e like most in Asian-based companies), you may purchase a perpetual (one-time) license or a subscription one (Plus edition).
