Hello, @cabcadmin. Thanks for reaching out here in the Community forum.
That "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" error during QuickBooks activation usually means that the software's internal components, which rely on your PC's browser and internet settings, can't properly connect to the activation server, even if your general internet connection is fine.
We can use the QuickBooks Tool Hub to fix installation problems that cause this type of error. Here's how:
- Close QuickBooks Desktop.
- Download the latest version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub and save the file where you can easily find it.
- Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
- Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
After that, from the Tool Hub, run the Quick Fix my Program. Here's how:
- In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
- Select Quick Fix my Program.
- Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.
If the error continues, let's uninstall/re-install your QuickBooks Desktop to give QuickBooks a true fresh start on your Computer. Please visit this article for a complete guidance on how to do this safely: Reinstall QuickBooks Desktop.
We can also check your Firewall and Antivirus setting, as these can sometimes prevent or block from reaching the activation servers.
