QBO accountant connect to Self Employed

Hi there! 

I am looking to connect my current client that already has a Self Employed subscription , not via me to my QBO accountant . As she needs my help with her books . 

How do I do this ? I have asked her to connect via the gear add an accountant but she does not have that option. 

 

I need Help ASAP!!

QBO accountant connect to Self Employed

Hi JuliesABCs.

 

Being able to connect to your clients QuickBooks is a great way to have access and make any changes to their books. I'd be happy to explain more about how users can be invited in QuickBooks.

 

In order to be added or invited to an account the user first needs to have a QuickBooks Online subscription. As your client has QuickBooks Self Employed, inviting an accountant or adding another user is not able to be done as self employed is a single user account. There is no Chart of Accounts and the majority of accounting has been streamlined. If your client wishes to invite you into their account they'll need to upgrade to QuickBooks Online which can be done by following the steps in this article.

She can migrate data with the following reference

But we recommend to open a new blank QBO account and import her invoice data manually

How does she pay the subscription now? Is she subscribing thru PlayStore/AppStore?

My client opted to subscribed to Easy Start so she is transfering her info and she just informed me that she only used self employed for invoices only . 

Would you suggest that she starts fresh or can she transfer these invoices to easy start by manual importing?
