When exporting QBO reports, eg. P&L, to EXCEL, what is the underlying formatting from QBO that doesn't allow for INDEX MATCH or VLOOKUP to work properly? Any Fixes? Thx

I have used TRIM(CLEAN(cell)) with no change in formula functionality. When I run LEN and CODE, the CODE is returning a significantly higher number than LEN, ie. 2x. To be able to run the macros with formulas will save 7 to 8 hours a month.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is designed as a cloud-based accounting solution with its own structured, Paul.

When you export data from QBO as an Excel file, no formulas are included. Furthermore, QBO doesn't natively support complex Excel functions. When reports are exported, QBO applies its internal formatting. This can include non-standard or invisible characters like non-breaking spaces or Unicode formatting that aren't compatible with Excel's formula requirements.

I recommend seeking expert assistance from IT professionals and Excel specialists to address the formatting.
