Amex C/C imports aree missing transactions and I update as much as I want, still the missing transactions are missing. How can this be remedied?

It's not limited to a set range of dates...for example, on a specific date, some transactions imported and others did not.

The missing transactions may be due to syncing issues with your bank, @dan249. To address this, you can contact your Amex bank to confirm if there is any ongoing system maintenance. In the meantime, I recommend manually importing the missing transactions.

Please note that QuickBooks Online (QBO) relies solely on the data synced by Amex. The missing entries  on certain days could be due to the timing of updates. As such, using the Update button cannot immediately resolve these discrepancies.

Before uploading your file, ensure the file size is 350 KB or less. If it exceeds this size, you can divide the transaction data by saving portions in separate files. For example, save transactions from 12 AM to 11:59 AM in File A and from 12 PM to 11 PM in File B.

Let's also look at that the file is saved in either a .QBO or .CSV format. These files should contain either three columns (Date, Description, Amount) or four columns (Date, Description, Credit, Debit). You can follow the specifications outlined in this article by clicking on the Format your file correctly drop-down: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online . This guide provides complete steps on how to import or upload bank transactions.

Lastly, I've added some resources for you to look at after uploading missing transactions:
