When I am in a clients file in Premier Accountant and asking to download the recent bank transactions ... my Enterprise opens up and wants to upload the bank transactions there. I just downloaded Enterprise as I am just starting to need it now.
Hello AMK19,
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It certainly sounds like strange behaviour from QuickBooks and I want to make sure you're able to get it sorted out. We'll need to see this kind of behaviour in action and it's important to make sure everything is set up as it needs to be. Once we've seen what's happening, we'll be able to troubleshoot if necessary.
For that reason, please call our team at 1-877-772-9158. With tools like a screen share session, we'll be able to help you get back on track. Learn about hours and policies here: Intuit QuickBooks Desktop software support policies
Don't be afraid to give us a shout! Have a great week.
I phoned and I was told that Quickbooks has not been able to download RBC bank data for 2 years. It doesn't make sense to me as I have been downloading perfectly fine until this problem.
Thanks for the follow up AMK19. The agent you spoke with was right that QuickBooks Desktop is no longer able to download data from RBC. While some users have reported they've been able to do so up until recently, that was likely a result of the system playing catch up. The strange behaviour you were describing in your initial post, I suspect, is what triggered it for you. Going forward, entering transactions manually is the way to go to make sure that you're able to get all of your data into QuickBooks.
Were you able to resolve the main issue of the Enterprise account opening while trying to download into the Premier file when you spoke with the agent? I want to make sure you were able to at least sort that out.
