Hello tarden-cropvue-c,
Sometimes it's necessary to change the base currency on your account, especially when your business starts to expand. QuickBooks is designed to support small business owners to reach their business goals using the powerful features included in the program. I'll be happy to share more info so you have the information you need to move forward.
QuickBooks gives you the flexibility to change your base currency, but under one condition. The condition is that you can only change the base currency only when you haven't activated the Multi-currency feature. This features allows you to use multiple currencies so you can fulfil your business needs with ease. To learn more about this feature, check out this article here . Otherwise, here's how you can change the base currency on your account:
- Click on the Gear icon, then Account and Settings.
- Select Advanced. Then at the Currency column, select the edit button.
- At the Home currency column, select the currency you wish to change to from the drop-down menu.
- Select Save, then Done.
Give this a try and let me know how you make out. I'll be one message away in case you have other questions.
