Hi UserDBailey:
From settings (the gear icon) go to Manage Users
On the Accounting Firms tab, click invite and enter the users name and email.
If the invite button isn't available, you may have already reached your two available account limit at which point you'd need to remove an existing before adding the new one.
Hello userdbailey,
Inviting your Accountant to work alongside you in QuickBooks is a fantastic way to streamline your bookkeeping process. This way your accountant can check over your work, dome some work of their own, and even share tasks and documents with you from within QuickBooks. Let me explain how you can invite your accountant to work on your books with you.
@LeithG has outlined one of the ways that you can invite your accountant as a user, but there's another way as well. If you navigate to the My Accountant tab, you'll see that there's a field for an email address and an Invite button. Just enter your accountant's email and hit Invite. Your accountant will receive an email inviting them to work on your books and as soon as they the invitation you'll notice their name on your user list when you access the Gear icon, then Manage users.
It's as simple as that, but don't hesitate to reach out if you have any followup questions. Have a great day!
