Hi there,

Mistakes like these are common, but don't worry, I'd be glad to give you a hand with making sure your accounts are reflecting the correct amounts.

Since it's just the name that's incorrect on the accounts. I recommend renaming them by switching the Checking account name to the Credit Card name and vice-versa.

Here's how:

  1. From QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon (⚙) and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Next to the Bank Register you'd like to change the name on, click the drop-down ▼ and select Edit.
  3. Enter the new one under Name. Click Save and close once finished.

In case you need to disconnect the bank accounts you can do this by clicking the small pencil icon next to the bank account, then click Edit account info > Disconnect account on save. Once you've disconnected the accounts, you can re-connect them by following the steps in this helpful article:  Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Give this a try and if you need further assistance, I recommend contacting our support team using this link. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your week. :)
