Employee self setup. when they received the email and click on the link, it is saying that they do no have workforce

I have set up an employee in Quickbooks workforce. when they receive the email and clink on link to set themselves up, it is giving an error message sayin "Looks like you don't have Workforce".  There is no account attached to the email you entered. Contact your employer to create one fo you". Why is this happening?

Thank you for reaching out about adding your Workforce users The Workforce employee portal is a great way to give employees access to their paystubs so they can view them. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with the Workforce setup.

For further assistance with accepting an invitation to Workforce, your employees would need to reach out to the Workforce support team by chat. They'll be able to view the login of the employee in question in order to provide steps in order to help get them access to their payroll info. You can reach them using the Chat with us link at the bottom of this article.

I am an employee who is exhausted trying to join my Workforce setup.  The "Chat" kept forwarding me to someone else, who then forwarded me to someone else, and then forwarded me again.  Nothing worked, finally the last chat person said it would be fixed from your end within a couple of days.  

 

I had back in 2014/2015'ish used Quickbooks for several months for myself.  Somehow, your system will NOT allow me to set up an account with my employer.  I have changed ID/passwords.  NOTHING works!!!!!

I recommend having your employer resend the invitation to Workforce. In addition, here is a guide with information on how to troubleshoot sign in issues. I hope this helps!
