How do I print a payroll report with the "pay item" field

Hi info1292,

 

QuickBooks Online reports function helps you save time by being able to pull up the information you need. I'd be happy to go over which report will show you the pay item field.

 

If you wanted a detailed report that showed the pay item field per employee I suggest looking at the Payroll Summary by Employee report. This will show all the items that are on an employees paycheque and the amounts that have been paid depending on timeframe. Another report you can look at would be the Payroll Detail report as this will show you the same information but in a different format. You can find both of these reports by going to: Reports>Payroll. 

 

If you wish to customize these reports to change the information you see you can follow the steps in this article.

that is the point, payroll is not calculating the correct amount of hours. I am trying to troubleshoot but cannot print all the information that I need.

Hi Again,

 

If you are having issues with QuickBooks Online not calculating the hours correct or printing all the information on a report it could be due to a few factors. The normal culprits usually have to do with the browser you are using such as damaged or corrupt cache and cookies or an issue with the browser itself. You can follow this article to clear out the cache and cookies and if you continue to have issues I suggest trying a private browser such as Google chrome's incognito mode or a different browser all together.

 

Should you continue to have issues I recommend contacting our support team as they can pull up your account and check to see if there are any back end issues causing this. You can reach them using one of the following options.

 

Schedule a Callback or Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat. Support is available from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.
