I am trying to pay my employees and bill clients with the help of QB time but for one of my employees it won't let me approve because QB time employee missing a pay rate?

She has an hourly pay rate entered and every time I click to finish setting her up in payroll, there's no spots with missing info.

Verify Employee Setup in QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Online:

  • Double-check the employee’s profile in both QB Time and QuickBooks Online Payroll to ensure all required fields are filled out correctly.
  • Make sure the hourly pay rate is entered and saved properly.

Sync QuickBooks Time with QuickBooks Online:

  • Sometimes, syncing issues can cause discrepancies. Go to QuickBooks Time and manually sync it with QuickBooks Online to ensure all data is up-to-date.

Re-enter Pay Rate:

  • Try deleting the current pay rate and re-entering it. This can sometimes resolve hidden issues.

Check Payroll Item Setup:

  • Go to Payroll Settings in QuickBooks Online and verify that the payroll items associated with the employee are set up correctly.

Clear Cache and Temporary Files:

  • Clear the cache and temporary files in your browser. Corrupted cache files can sometimes cause issues.

Update QuickBooks Online and QB Time:

  • Ensure both QuickBooks Online and QB Time are updated to the latest versions. Updates can often resolve unexpected issues.
