I think the link for Payroll table updates is wrong

from the website https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Employees-and-payroll/Download-the-latest-payroll-tax-table-...

If you have already installed QuickBooks 2019 or 2018 and wish to download the updates manually, use the link for your version of QuickBooks Desktop below. If you're using QuickBooks Desktop 2017, you will need to upgrade to 2019 before downloading the tax table updates:

2019QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier or Premier Accountant 2019
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 19.0

well the link for QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier or Premier Accountant 2019 is the following:

https://globalsmallbusiness.intuit.com/downloads/CA/QuickBooks/2019/dls/szxlidxcipr4/Update290r7_108...

and the page shows:

Not found

Well shouldn't the 8 digit number in the file name start with 109 NOT 108 as the link has?

  • The first 3 numbers under "You are using tax table version:" reflect your tax table version and should read 109.

I think the link for Payroll table updates is wrong

Hi sutter,

Great job keeping up to date with the tax table updates! And thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've just tried the link in our Download the latest payroll tax table update article out for myself and got the same result in Firefox. I was, however, able to download the file using Google Chrome. Please try a different browser than what you're using to see if you're able to download the update.

I'll be sure to pass it on to my team right away that the link isn't working in some browsers so we can get this fixed up as soon as possible.

If you're unable to download from any of the browsers, I recommend trying to update directly in QuickBooks Desktop to make sure you have current calculations. The article outlines how to do it that way as well.

Let me know if you have further questions!

It works now as they have fixed the link and removed the links for Quickbooks 2018.

As a note, I was also using Chrome.

Thanks for letting me know you were able to update! I'm glad to hear it. :) Thanks for confirming which browser you were using as well. Since the update was just released today, I'm thinking there may have been a lag in our system with the article updating. We always appreciate people bringing these things to our attention since we want you to be able to work as seamlessly as possible. Let me know if you have more questions!
