Is there a payroll report that would support AFT Direct deposit?

It sounds like you may not be using our payroll service for direct deposit. Payroll reports are made available for you once you turn on payroll in the software. Feel free to check out these articles to learn more about QuickBooks Online Payroll and how our direct deposit system works.

In case you're using another service for payroll and would like QuickBooks to generate a report for you, you'd have to manually record your payroll in the system. Here's an article to assist you with that: Record payroll transactions manually

From there, you can now explore the Reports menu to find a report that meets your needs. For more on how to run reports in the program, check out this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online

I am using QBO payroll but the client is "married" to her bank and wants to use their AFT system to pull and push funds.  The  parameters for the report to be uploaded are very specific with "Headers", etc and I don't see any kind of option for that.  Perhaps customizing an exiting report?

Hi anna, thanks for sharing more details on this. You have the flexibility to use QBO payroll to produce accurate paycheques/reports and use a different service to complete the deposits. You can find the complete list of QBO payroll reports in my previous post. In case the report needed to upload in your other system has a different layout, feel free to use the information in QBO payroll to customize to your desire format.
