I sent the invite to accept pay statements to my employee, directly from her file within QuickBooks. When she clicked on the link it told her she wasn't registered with that company name. How do I get her pay statement link to accept her?
Hi DenisePCleaning,
I'm glad to hear you've chosen QuickBooks Online Payroll to easily manage your employees' wages. Inviting your employees to QuickBooks Workforce gives them access to their paycheques, T4s, and other payroll information. I'll be happy to assist you with this.
After sending a Workforce invite to an employee, the link they receive is valid for 30days. It's therefore important for your employees to accept the invite within that range to set up their Workforce profile and view their paystubs. Here are the necessary steps for that.
Your employee is now good to go to view their paystubs as soon as you run payroll. For more details on that, check out this useful article: View your paycheques and T4s in QuickBooks Workforce
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else.
Good Afternoon!
Thank you so much for your response, here is where we are having issues now, my employee says;
"I received the invite, and created my account but did not receive a follow up email from Intuit to finish setting up. I've checked in all email folders just to be sure but i have nothing from them other than the initial invite email."
Any further direction would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Denise
Hi Denise,
Thanks for following up with more details about what's happening when your employee creates their account for Workforce. I'll direct you from here.
I see you've mentioned that the employee received the invite and created the account, but didn't receive any further prompt to complete the setup. Since the employee has been able to accept the invite and create the account, I recommend having them try to log into Workforce by visiting workforce.intuit.com with the account details they created. Workforce is an easy-to-use portal that doesn't require much setup apart from creating the account. If your employee is able to login, they should be good to go.
If they're having trouble logging in, however, or have other questions or concerns about the Workforce portal, I recommend you or your employee reaching out to the Workforce chat for further assistance. The chat link is available at the bottom of the article my colleague shared, so if you bookmark that one, you'll have it for the future. Here's the link to the chat in the meantime, however: Workforce Chat.
Wishing you and your employee the best!
