payroll direct deposit to employees not through telepay

I love that you're looking into the options for setting up direct deposit to speed up the process of your employees getting paid. I'm glad you've come across Telpay since that's the service QuickBooks Desktop uses for payroll direct deposit. I can appreciate wanting to go directly through you bank though to keep things even simpler.

At this time, Telpay is the available option for submitting payroll direct deposit from QuickBooks Desktop and there isn't an option to connect your bank account directly for this purpose. In light of that, I recommend considering Telpay or simply using QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to make the calculations and then pay your employees via e-transfer through the bank. There may even be other solutions that you can come up with, so don't be afraid to explore what else is out there.

I'm just checking if this is still the case. QBD cannot connect with any other third party platforms except for Telpay?
