Hi Jacob, 

I can say I am a happy qb payroll online user I started using it only 5 months ago and it's also my first time doing payroll and all QB and business things so I find it easy and user-friendly, especially for us, beginners

I've been using QBO payroll with success for 2 years.  I've never used the desktop version of QB so I can't offer any comparison.  What issues are you having with the online version?

It's important that all your transactions are entered correctly for your pay totals to be accurate. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool to help you pay your employees for the hours they've worked for your company. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with payroll.

For assistance with QuickBooks Online Payroll, there are some articles available on the Community able to explain some processes, as they can be different from those in QuickBooks Desktop. You can also ask questions in the Community, which can be assisted by experienced uses as well as the QuickBooks team. For further help, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online Payroll support team. They'll be able to best assist in setting p your payroll so you can pay them the correct amount for the hours they've worked. You can reach the support team using these options:
