Thanks for joining us in the QuickBooks Community! I love that you're exploring the different ways to use QuickBooks Online to enhance how you work with your business data and funds. Being able to pay suppliers directly through the program would certainly be a handy feature, and I can go over the current options when it comes to the software.
QuickBooks Online includes a number of ways to record the transactions from and payments made to your suppliers, but at this time there isn't a way to directly pay the suppliers through the program. While you can choose the payment accounts on your transactions in QuickBooks, it doesn't actually move the money from your bank account outside of the software to make the payment on your behalf.
I have a couple of suggestions for you. The first is to submit feedback for our product development team by using the steps outlined here: How do I submit feedback? This gives our development team the opportunity to learn the various ways that users would like to work with the program to manage their businesses. Something you can consider while our development team considers your feedback is working with a partner app or third-party service to pay your suppliers while still syncing the data with your QuickBooks Online account. The Apps tab in your account provides a selection of apps you can search through to connect with your QuickBooks to complete various tasks. You can also search outside of QuickBooks for third-party integrations that will also meet this need.
