Hi,
Everything is set up as described. But still, I cannot edit the pay period. See the screenshot attached.
The 1st pay period would be 24/03/2022 to 06/04/2022. Quickbook is considering a full 2 weeks pay.
But my employees were hired on April 1st, so there should not be any amout for the days before April 1st.
How can I edit the first pay period so it consider the hire date?
I also attach the screenshots of the set up of the employees, and the pay schedule.
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching back out. It's great to see that you've provided screenshots so we're on the same page. It looks like you're on the right track with your work. I recommend clearing cache on your browser first and foremost. Once you're logged back in, return to > Payroll settings > Pay schedules > hit Edit > click on the Calendar icon. Make the necessary changes and hit OK when complete. If you get the same result, please contact us so we can connect with you, and navigate through the process together. This will also allow us to gather additional information about your account and have a look at it from our end.
Please don't hesitate to reach back out with other questions. We're always glad to assist!
Hi,
Thank you, but ... which "necessary changes" should I make?
Here are the screenshot of this section:
Hi there,
To ensure your employees are paid on time, you'll need to enter the actual date they'll be paid in My next pay day is field. This covers the pay period ending on April 6. That should do it for you and this will correct the upcoming pay schedules as well. I hope this helps!
Let me know if this has been solved. Or reach back out if you have other questions.
I have tried that, but it still consider a full pay period of 2 weeks. Instead or considering the hiring date of April 1st as the first day they should start to receive money.
