Hello Strongbiz,
Thanks for sharing the message you're getting when trying to change the remittance frequency for your payroll taxes, and how the link populates a 404 error. I'm here to help make sure that this is addressed so you can set up your remittance frequency in QuickBooks Online as you'd like.
Before outlining our support options, I have a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the error. Sometimes these kinds of errors can crop up because of browser, cache, app, or even Internet issues, so the following troubleshooting steps help clear out that possibility and may even get you back on track. After each of these steps, try changing the frequency again to see if you still get the error.
If you come to a step that gets you back on track, you can stop there without having to go through the rest. These steps are handy to keep in mind though just in case you run into trouble in the program.
If the error still persists, however, connecting with our support team is definitely the way to go so we can privately collect your account details and review the setup in your books and our system. Here are the options to get in touch.
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

Hi there MD-Drywall Inc,
Making sure that your remittance periods are set up correctly is an important step in your bookkeeping. QuickBooks Online is a great tool to keep track of those remittances to make filing them with the government an easier process. I can assist you with this.
One thing that may be affecting your navigation in QuickBooks Online is browsing data. Temporary files such as cache and cookies can cause errors such as missing buttons. It may also be caused by using a non-supported browser or being too zoomed in while in a browser. Here are some steps to try and resolve the issue of the missing button:
I hope these steps help you get back to getting the correct remittance period for your payroll taxes. Feel free to reach out here if you have any other questions.
