Hi there,

It's important you're able to identify the timing of your trip and I'll be glad to steer you on the right path. QuickBooks Self-Employed is a powerful program that's designed for motivated business owners like you. In order to check the trips on your account, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Mileage on the menu and then navigate to the Reviewed tab.
  2. From here, you can locate and open the trip(s) in question.
  3. If you need to make edits, select Edit.
  4. Make the appropriate changes.
  5. Select Save.
  6.

I suggest checking out this article here for more info about managing your trips in QuickBooks. Let me know if this info helps, I'll be on standby in case you need anything else.

Hi James.  Thank you for the reply.

I've done exactly as you suggest but the timing ( start and finish time) of each trip does not show under the reviewed tab.

Here is what I see.

Hi there markduess,

Thank you for trying that step. Another issue that may be affecting your navigation in QuickBooks Self-Employed is browsing data accumulated in your system. Temporary files such as cache and cookies can have an effect on the display of information in any online software. Here are a few steps to try to resolve issues relating to browsing data:

If there is no change after trying these steps, recommend contacting the QuickBooks Self-Employed support team outside of the community. A support expert can connect with you in your account to be able to guide you to the best solution. Here are the steps to reach out to QuickBooks Self-Employed support while logged into your account:

  1. Select the Assistant feature.
  2. Type and enter "talk to human" in the chat window.
  3. Follow the prompts.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.

James.

The answer I've been given by on line support person after an hour of being given the runaround is..

You can't see the timing once you have reviewed the trip.

It has nothing to do with what you suggest.

Hello markduess,

I can see how this change in the display could affect your data entry within QuickBooks Self-EMployed. What I can recommend is to leave feedback in the system by clicking on the Assistant option, then typing Feedback. Comments made in this section are taken into consideration when the developers create new features for QuickBooks Self-Employed.
