QuickBooks Online makes it easy to track your employees' time and fetching those records should be a breeze as well. It sounds like you're unable to pull up data prior to March 2020. Let me show you a way that you'll be able to do this.
First off, you'll want to navigate to the Reports menu from the left. Use the Search field to type "time" and you should pull up a few options, I think the Time Activities by Employee Detail report should suit your needs. At the top of the report you can use the Time Activity Date dropdown to choose your date range. Custom will allow you to select July 2019 as the starting date, up to the specific end date that you need. You can email, print, or export your report once you run it using the small icons at the top.
You'll also be able to use the Magnifying Glass icon at the top to search for your time activity, as well as the Audit Log within the Gear icon. You can filter for Time events and choose a date range.
