Payroll Vacation Time Off Activity Report, in Summary or Detail. Where can i find this information?

Hi, 

 

I'm doing a review of all Payroll Activities relative to Paid Time Off.  Looking for Vacation Accruals, Vacation payouts, by hours, and by amount, and can't seem to find this report.  Previously, there was a report that provided this information, and i feel it was moved, and i can't find it.

Thanks for joining this thread. Once your access the Vacation and Sick leave Report, I encourage you to click on one of the employees on the list. This will take you to a new page where you can filter a period of your choice for the selected employee. Let me know if this is the feature you are looking for.

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks Online is a great program that gives you the ability to easily access your payroll reports. I'd be glad to provide you with some information on payroll reports.

 

I encourage to review this article to access a list of payroll reports available in QuickBooks. The program also offers the ability to customize reports. Payroll Vacation Time Off Activity Report, in Summary or Detail. Where can i find this information?

Hi QBO Support guy, 

 

I had actually searched through your help articles, and have already contacted support, but only getting boiler plate answers, and links to articles that I have already previously accessed .

 

Last year, I was able to access a Vacation and Sick Leave Report  that i was able to filter to a time (ie. a calendar year.   As I needed to check the employee's Time Off Balance at Dec 31.   This was a useful report for discussion with employees on the Carry-Forward Balances of your payroll. 

 

This report is no longer available, and it seems the only report is a current Balance report.  

 

Please advise.

Thanks for reaching back out to us here. After further review, I can assure you that the Vacation and sick leave Report is still available. If you're not seeing this report, I recommend reaching out to our support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your screen and get a visual of what might be happening in your account. You can reach them by following one of the methods provided by my colleague above.

Hi Amanda,   please read the full message before replying, and I feel there is a lack of understanding of the issues. so please let me restate.

 

Yes, the Vacation and sick leave Report is still available, but due to recent changes, it only provides current  TIME OFF and VACATION balances.   It does not enable a user to specify a TIME BASED report (quarterly, monthly, annually, etc).    

 

Previous versions of the Vacation and sick leave Report enabled users to specify a TIME BASED report, which is useful to the company.   Currently reports are only useful for snapshot reporting, but not for year-end or time-based reporting. 

 

I don't have any issues with finding this report, or generating it.  I have issues with the options related to it. 

I am not interested in speaking to your support,  as this is an issue for your Dev Team.   

 

FYI, i have spoken with Support, and they are unable to help. Hopefully they will also escalate to your Dev Team.

 

At this point, I'd like to leave this comment for the Community here, so others may know if they have similar issues.

 

Please advise when it is fixed.
