Thank you for reaching out with your question about resyncing paychecks in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

 

It sounds like the issue may be related to your payroll setup or accounting preferences, particularly how your accounts are mapped. We can review and adjust your payroll settings to ensure that paychecks are set up correctly and synced moving forward.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Scroll down and look for Accounting.
  3. On the Accounting Preferences screen, edit and review the mappings to ensure you have selected the correct accounts.
  4. Click Save.  

 

Please note that if the account you need isn’t available in the drop-down list, you will need to add it to the Chart of Accounts first.

After editing your accounting preferences, this should refresh and successfully sync the entry.
