Why can't we assign bundles to categories? They seem to go randomly where ever they want making it difficult to find to edit and view to make sure we are not recreating?

Why can't we assign bundles to categories? They seem to go randomly where ever they want making it difficult to find to edit and view to make sure we are not recreating? I don't know what the internally sorting code says for these but it is maddening.

Hi angie99,

 

It's great that you're using the category feature for your products and services that provides a clear picture of your sales.  I can see how this can be bothersome when you're creating additional bundles and trying to ensure you're not creating duplicates.  Using categories in QuickBooks Online is a great feature designed to represent the products you sell and save time for easily locating them.  I'd be happy to advise!

 

Although you can add, edit or remove a category, there's currently no option for applying this to bundled items.  When you create categories for your products and services you'll be prompted if a duplication occurs, to prevent this from happening.  

 

If you'd like to see this feature available for bundled items in future updates, you can submit a recommendation directly to our Development Team by going to the Gear in the top right and hit Feedback.  We appreciate all suggestions that'll improve your overall customer experience with QuickBooks Online.
