QuickBooks Desktop understands the importance of having the correct location on your associated forms. I would be happy to share some information, so you can set up multiple inventory sites.
When you Turn on Advanced Inventory, you can track items stored ad different locations. Once this feature is turned on, follow this link to learn how to set up inventory sites, and create separate items for each site/location.
