Email body

When sending an invoice or estimate via email when you customize the subject line and the body the changes do not show up on the right hand side as they used to. This was a bit disconcerting so I sent it and also sent it to myself, and the changes were there. This has happened since the new "template upgrade"

I hope you can correct that so we know what we are sending.

Welcome to the Community. I'll be happy to steer you in the right direction so you can get back to doing the things you enjoy. 

 

First, I'd like to start off by troubleshooting this issue to determine if it's a browser-related issue. Clearing cache and cookies is a great way to clean your browser allowing it to work more efficiently. Here's an article that shows you how to do that: How to clear cache and cookies. If this doesn't work, I suggest using a private/incognito window to see if that works instead. Try this out and let me know what happens.

James,

Sorry it took a bit to get back to you. I have tried both suggestions to no avail.

It still does not show my customize email body on the right side but when I send me a copy it does show up.

Also something new showed up, the body of the invoice is now also on the right side in a condensed format. What is that about. It appears one can still open the invoice but takes about 3 steps.

Hope you guys can straighten this out. It would also be nice to know when you make these changes.

I'd like to make sure what you're experiencing isn't beyond product design. Are errors being displayed on the screen or are you referring to the product design?

I do not get errors. This seems to be a design change as previously what I typed in the  body showed up on the right hand side. Now my customizations does not show up on the right just the standard reply. This is only for sending an invoice.
