Hi community, I'm trying to change the email address associated with my account. It seems like everything works as normal, until I hit submit. It looks like it goes through successfully, but the old email address still remains. How do I make this work?

Keeping your most up-to-date email address associated with your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription is a great idea. It makes accessing your account even easier. With QuickBooks, updating your account info is a simple process. In order to help resolve the issue you're having with changing your email address, I want to walk you through the simple steps you should be taking, as well as some browser troubleshooting steps that you can take.

 

In order to change the email address associated with your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in from the Intuit Account Manager using your current log in credentials.
  2. Choose the Sign in & security menu.
  3. Select the section for email address.
  4. Enter your email address twice, then your password.
  5. Click Save.

 

If after follow the steps above, you're still experiencing the issue from before, I recommend attempting the browser troubleshooting steps below. Once complete, try following the steps to change your email address again. 

 

 

Contacting support is the next best step if you're still unable to change your email address. They will assist you with making the change or provide additional troubleshooting steps that you can take. Hello community, 

I'm also having a hard time finding where to update the FROM email address on the invoice.  I am using Quickbooks Self-Employed and cannot find a company setting anywhere to update the information.  When I go to my Intuit account, the email address is correct; however, all of my invoices are showing and going out from a different email address.  

 

Can someone please help me fix this?  I am no longer associated with that email address.

  1. Go to the Assistant menu from the top bar.
  2. Enter the keyword Account and Billing Management. You can also use a different description of your concern.
