Hello tylermcgonigal,
You're off to a good start with troubleshooting this issue. When something goes wrong, trying different browsers is a useful test to see if the issue is related to the browser or if there's another reason what you're trying to do isn't working. I can help you with getting this sorted out so you can import your transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed using the CSV file.
It sounds like you're using the steps outlined in the article Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed to bring in your data via CSV file. If so, that's also a good start. Since you're getting the "darn" message when trying to do so, and seeing it in different browser, it could be that there's something else going on to prevent the import from going through properly.
What Fiat Lux hints at with checking for issues with the CSV file is ideal. You're welcome to consider the third-party service that they've linked, or you can review your CSV file yourself to make sure everything looks good. While we don't have an article exclusively for CSV formatting for QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can check out this one for QuickBooks Online to see if it helps: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Finally, if you're still having trouble, I invite you to contact the QuickBooks Self-Employed team directly. That way, a member of our team can go over this with you in detail to learn what's going on and get you back on track. Here's how you can get in touch.
Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
