it's vital that all your transactions are correctly entered so that all your pay totals can be accurate. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help you keep track of your vacation amounts for each of your employees so you can pay them the right amount. I can provide some information about payroll.
In order to pay out your vacation to your employee, you can pay the employee using the pay type called Vacation Pay Paid out. This pay type is to be used to pay vacation pay at the end of employment or any other vacation pay out that isn't vacation hours.
