How do I update the credit card for my monthly subscription payment?

I've got you covered, Anne. I can help you add a new credit card to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account for monthly subscription payments.

 

Updating your payment method from the old credit card to a new one ensures that your subscription continues without interruption. I'd be glad to outline the steps below.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account as a primary admin.
  2. Click the Gear icon and select Subscription and billing.image_720.png
  3. Next to payment method, choose Edit and update your credit card info.
  4. Review the address for your credit card and ensure it is the same one that appears on your credit card statements.
  5. When done, hit  Confirm card or Save.

 

Moreover, if your QBO account is bundled with Payroll, your credit card details will also be updated. If you have more than one Intuit subscription, you can use Intuit Payment Wallet to add and receive payment methods for all your subscriptions.
