My backup is starting to fail stating backup could not be completed because it ran out of disk space. To successfully backup you need to have at least TWO times the size of your biggest FileSet of freespace in C:// (location data protect).
How do I resolve this?
Hi Mjl1030,
Welcome to the Community. It's essential to access your backup file to keep track of your books. QuickBooks Desktop is a flexible program that simplifies the way you manage your books. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction to get the support you need to resolve Intuit Data Protect Backup Failed.
If your backup file is larger than disk space, you'd need to condense your file to complete the backup. I encourage you to contact our customer support team. They will be able to point you in the right direction so that you can get back doing what you love. You can refer to this article to reach out to our team.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.
