Memorized Transaction List

Since updating to QB 2022 64bit, I am unable to re-order the Memorized Transaction List. Please confirm a solution is available.

Memorized Transaction List

Not sure why you would think this response is helpful. I have contact Support. The issue I'm describing is a known issue which began when QB updated to 64 bit encryption. In case you're wondering, I've been using QBD since the mid nineties.

Thank you for getting back to us and sharing your insights about this issue, @impossible.

 

Every version of QuickBooks Desktop follows a specific system requirements to ensure the program processes are stable. See this System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2022. If there are unusual problems in the program, given that your computer meets the requirements we can diagnose and self-fix it using the Verify/Rebuild Utility. Here's how to do that in QuickBooks:

 

  1. Go to the File menu then Utilities.
  2. Select Verify Data then wait until the diagnosis is done.
  3. If there are issues, proceed to rebuilding the company file.
  4. Tap File menu and Utilities again.
  5. Use Rebuild Data this time then click OK.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to save a backup.

 

You can try sorting the Memorized Transaction List by clicking any of the headers. You can also use the little diamond icon to drag items up and down. However, if the problem persists after verifying and rebuilding the file, proceed to repairing the software to fix program issues in QuickBooks. To do that, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Create a backup copy of the company file beforehand, to avoid any accidental data loss.
  2. Reboot the computer and tap the Windows Start menu.
  3. Find Control Panel on the search field or select it from the list.
  4. Press Programs and Features then Uninstall a Program.

    Note: If you don't see Programs and Features, select Programs instead. Then select Program and Features.

  5. Pick QuickBooks from the list of Programs, then press Uninstall/Change.
  6. Click on Continue, or Next. then Repair.
  7. Press Next again then wait for the tool to start its diagnosis.
  8. Tap Finish when done.
