my worker in Time (non-employee) doesn't show up in approvals. It's been working fine until now. they are set up as a user, their access/permissions have not changed.

my contract worker has tracked there time in our own Quickbooks Time setup for quite some time. I track my time there too. Normally, I can run approvals for both of us and then export to QB. Today though, she's no longer showing up in approvals. Here time tracked for this last pay period has Billable=Yes.

Since you've verified there have been no changes to your workers' permissions and setups, and you usually have no issues approving their timesheets, let's proceed with some troubleshooting steps to determine if the problem is related to your browser, BFOSSEN.

Corrupted cache files can affect your experience when carrying out specific tasks within the software. Try the process again in a private window to determine if the issue is browser-related. Below are the keyboard shortcuts for opening a private window in various browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If your worker's approvals appear in the private window, return to your main browser and clear its cache for a fresh start.

However, If the problem persists, consider using other supported browsers, as this issue can sometimes be related to the particular browser you're using.

Additionally, I'm providing this resource to help you monitor and organize your team members' timesheets in QuickBooks Time: Track and manage QuickBooks Time in QuickBooks Online.

We stand ready to support your exploration of these options. For any queries or additional assistance regarding your worker's timesheet in QuickBooks Time, please use this communication channel. We value your consideration and are enthusiastic about helping you elevate the QuickBooks user experience.

Thanks, Jovelyn_M. No dice, I'm affraid. I've tried now on different computers, with both chrome and edge and still seeing the same issue.

I did, however, try running the approvals report, filtered just for the worker and for this latest pay period.  Doing this gave me a pop up window.

"You've selected an employee that is not configured for this pay period."

Haven't seen that before!  Not sure why now. Nothing in our configurations has changed.
