In QuickBooks Online (QBO) Canada, the T4A slip pulls the Payer's Address directly from your Company Settings, rather than from a specific payroll tab. If the address is missing, it's usually because the "Company Address" field is blank or the "Legal Address" is missing.
Follow these steps to ensure the address populates on your slips:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right corner, then select Account and settings under Your Company.
- Select Company, then click Company info.
- Ensure all address fields are completely filled out: street address, city, province, and postal code.
- If anything is missing, click Edit to fill it in and then click Save.
- Scroll down to the Legal info section below.
- Verify that the Legal address is complete as well.
- Click Save and then Done.
Once done, refresh the page to apply your changes.
