QuickBooks Enterprise offers the ability to create certain user roles, which would allow you to set up a "View Only" user type to suit your needs. One of the great things about this version of the program is you can really get into the finer details of what the users can and cannot see as well as what they can and cannot do. QuickBooks Desktop can be installed on multiple computers and with certain configurations, users can access the file at the same time and without having to move the file from one computer to the other.
