To undo a sales tax filing in QuickBooks, simply delete the journal entry that was generated. This will reset everything only in QuickBooks. You can now file your proper sales tax return. If you have also filed with CRA, you will have to wait (possibly weeks) for the sales tax return to be processed. Once the sales tax return is processed, you will have to refile an adjustment.
